Hi!
I'm Jeff Bach, owner of CRT Auto Electronics. Diagnosing and solving driveability
problems is my passion.
Although I've been in the automotive repair business for over 25 years,
it all started for me at the Live Oaks Vocational School in Batavia, Ohio.
Along the way the General Motors Training Program Center offered me a scholarship
so I learned more there. My work career until I started CRT Auto Electronics
about 10 years ago included working at Cincinnati's two largest Cadillac
dealerships. While at the Cadillac dealerships, I held GM Master Technicians
status and won Cadillac's Master Craftsman Award.
Electronics always interested me so I took just about every electronics
course available to auto technicians, including GM Specialized Electronics
Training I and II. My knowledge of automotive electronics has also given
me the opportunity to serve on the OCAP panel to review the training programs
for Ohio's Vocational schools and teach at the Southern Ohio College.
Since starting CRT Auto Electronics I've become active in the Ohio chapter
of ASA, presently serving as secretary. I've been fortunate to present
numerous seminars on The Automotive Internet, Lab Scope Usage, and Current
Probe Diagnostics and have published several articles in ASA's "AutoInc"
magazine.
I started using the low Current Probe to test fuel pumps 17 years ago and
saw a real opportunity to conduct what I have since found is pioneering
research to develop the most helpful diagnostic techniques I have seen
in this industry since the advent of the ignition scope. Along the way
I've compiled a waveform software library of thousands of waveforms covering
almost every electrical component found in a vehicle.
